An exciting, new varietal offering for Koonowla, coming from one of our prized source blocks in the southern Clare districts near Auburn where we believe it is well suited to deliver a generous wine with loads of rich aromas and flavours. The Primitivo grape is also known as Zinfandel – we have chosen to go with its European/ Mediterranean name which resonates with our family traditions and preferred wine styles.
